Project profile

The Erasmus Consultancy Project (ECP) is a project of STAR, the study association of Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University. Every year, the ECP offers companies and non-profit organizations tailor-made research and consultancy services in an emerging market at cost price. These services are carried out by approximately 26 carefully selected students of the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. RSM is ranked 10th in Financial Times European Business Schools ranking, hence our consultants are top-tier business students. Moreover, two RSM professors are involved to warrant the academic quality of the project. Here, you can read more about our team.

What can we do for you?

The project provides substantial to its clients due to the combination of desk and field research. Every company project will start with desk research, after which we will travel to Indonesia for 3 weeks to conduct field research. This results in tailor-made, well-rounded and in-depth advice for companies, which allows for the creation of sustainable competitive advantages for your company. Moreover, our values and philosophy contribute to a high societal awareness. Previously, the ECP has successfully completed 32 projects in countries such as China, Mexico, India, the Republic of Korea, Vietnam, Brazil, Thailand, Chile, and Colombia. This year, our destination is Indonesia.

The ECP is a unique project and has gained extensive experience over the past 32 years. Additionally, it has built an extensive network of professionals and professors to rely on. The ECP focuses on creating value for its clients as well as on establishing a professional collaboration: we aim to establish a solid relationship with clients based on good communication and mutual understanding to provide the best services possible. Furthermore, our consultants are highly motivated business students dedicated to deliver practical and sustainable results; they are keen on helping your organization learn and develop itself.
